For the second time this year Coach Fox has won another Youth Championship. While winning it last year as the underdog, and returning this year as the favorite, Coach Fox did a great job coaching his new team to another championship

The Youth 5-7 league was even more competitive this Fall, the total number of teams grew to 8 and the kids had a great time! The playoffs this Fall had the first sudden death overtime, a thriller between Georgia and Florida for the right to face Penn State in Sundays semi-finals. And a big semi-final upset LSU over 2^nd seed WVU to advance to the championship game. Kids made tremendous progress all year, learning how to run plays, catch balls, and grab flags. Still in the end Coach Fox and Penn State won the championship over LSU in a great game 48-35.

Congratulations to both teams, we can’t wait until 2010 for the NFL Youth Spring League to begin!

Anthony Defelice has coached his second Pro Performance undefeated team the NCAA Youth Flag Football Champions West Virginia Mountaineers.  Congratulations to the coach and the players for a great team performance all year.

The Saturday 2^nd Round games started with WVU beating Maryland and Penn State beating South Carolina. In the championship WVU jumped out to a quick 25 to 13 lead, but Penn State battled back in the second half before running out of time and losing 37 to 35.

Both teams showed great plays and great discipline! The league was more competitive and loaded with talent. All season great plays where made, but most importantly kids learned some basic fundamentals of football and how to compete as a team having Fun!

Preparation will begin again soon for the Spring NFL Flag Football League which will begin at the end of Feb. thru April 4^th.

Lot’s of question have been asked this Adult Flag Football season: Who will finally beat RUCKUS? Why did the Spring league champions not play this Fall? And what happen to team Pro Performance? While I cannot answer the first two I can answer the last. Team Pro is now Awesome Klothing.
